Good stuff: Ease of checking in and out - excellent meal on our first night - valet parking.

Bad stuff: Lounge could do with redecorating - no radio access in room.

Overall: The atmosphere of 'The Angel' was relaxed, yet efficient. We were impressed that parking was not the problem we anticipated. The staff were very efficient and helpful - I had accidentally asked for a smoking room when booking, yet reception dealt with my telephone request to correct my error quickly and without fuss. The food, especially the dinner on our first evening, was first class. As a Dickens fan, I was delighted to follow in the great man's footsteps.

Bad stuff: Didn't like breakfast in the Vaults - it is too clostrophic (spell?)

Overall: Very nice relaxing overnight staff. Room excellent. staff very helpful. Nice location.
