The ancient market town of Kirbymoorside has stood on the southern edge of what is now the North Yorkshire Moors National Park for hundreds of years, and Appletree Court has been part of this village since it was built around 1750, and for most of its long history it has been a working farm.
Its location is perfect for enjoying the many attractions that this beautiful area has to offer. Within just a short driving distance there are many areas of outstanding natural beauty, magnificent country houses that are open to the public, including Castle Howard, Helmsley Castle and Rievaulx Abbey. To the east the popular sea side towns of Scarborough and Whitby, plus the historic Roman walled town of York are all within easy reach.
Our superb establishment was originally built as a farm house in around 1750 and for generations was a working farm, now it provides a wonderfully warm welcome, clean and comfortable accommodation and an excellent cooked breakfast that is guaranteed to set you up for the day.
