Originally a magnificent Georgian country house our warm and welcoming establishment has been lovingly extended and improved to provide our guests with superb accommodation during their visit to the area. Our location 2 miles from the centre of Barnsley is ideal for the business traveller who has business in Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster or one of the many other towns and industrial areas that are within easy reach. For the leisure traveller there are many interesting places for you to visit, Worsborough Mill, a historic water powered mill, Meadow Hall shopping centre and Last of the Summer Wine country, where not only this popular and long running comedy is made but also Emmerdale and Heartbeat are filmed in this picturesque part of the country.
