Originally a coaching house back in the 16th century, providing food and a bed for the weary travellers who passed through the area; we are still providing the same service six hundred years later. We have four well designed, richly furnished and tastefully decorated rooms, that have all the modern amenities you would expect from an establishment of this quality. All the rooms are set in the annexe, a short distance from the main building.
In the main building, the bar has wooden beams and inglenook fireplaces that give it a warm and cosy feeling, ideal for sitting and relaxing with a drink or a meal from the bar menu. You can also enjoy a meal from the exquisite A La Carte menu, freshly prepared by our Chef and served to your table; along with a fine wine from our cellar as the perfect accompaniment.
The attractions of the area are too numerous to mention but Stonehenge, the world famous ancient monument; Salisbury Cathedral; Wilton House and Old Sarum Castle are all within easy travelling distance.
