This part of the British Isles is one of the most spectacularly beautiful region of countryside to be found anywhere in the UK. The area has many excellent attractions, some other them old and historic, others not quite so old but still just as exciting. Sandringham House, Oxburgh Hall and Blickling Hall are just a few of the many historic stately buildings that are within just few minutes drive. We are located in Swaffham and only a few yards from the famous church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, a delightful parish church that is well worth a visit.
Our stylish establishment has been a focal point within the village since it was built as a coaching inn, catering for people heading north from the city of London, in the seventeenth century. It has been providing much needed food and drink and a comfortable bed to sleep in for it guests ever since, and we are proud to continue this noble tradition to this present day.
With twenty nine superbly well proportioned, elegantly decorated twin and double rooms, we have created a wonderfully welcoming and cosy establishment that provides the ideal place for travellers to return to at the end of a long day.
