Oswestry stands on what in Roman times was the main trading route from London to the North. Our magnificent hotel was originally built as a Georgian Coaching Inn, way back in 1727 and provided much needed rest and food for the weary travellers who travelled through our area. This tradition has continued until the present day and we still provide travellers with somewhere to stay and good food, only now we provide superb accommodation, excellent food and the highest level of attentive, yet unobtrusive service for our guests. Obviously the building has changed since 1727 but it still retains its original charm and character, but now we have 29 well proportioned and well equipped rooms, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, fully equipped gymnasium, massage studio and beauty centre.
