 Situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park, our wonderful establishment is surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery that you will find. With a choice of accommodation - with stylish and elegant rooms or self contained apartments - all well equipped and decorated to the highest standard.
Biggin Hall was originally built in the 17th century and stands in its own eight acres of superb gardens and rolling Derbyshire countryside. A building of historic interest it is a Grade II listed building and the present owners have put a great deal of time and effort into restoring it to its former glory, and as much of the original character of the building as possible has been retained. During the renovation many of the stone mullioned and leaded windows have been uncovered, seeing daylight for the first time since they were obliterated following the introduction of the 'window taxes' of the 1790s.
The accommodation is eclectic, with the main house containing a range of single, twin and double rooms, plus the four poster 'master suite', with low oak beams and a unique character. An 18th century stone building a little way from the main house, houses five well equipped, self contained studio apartments and a spacious two bedroom suite. Whichever accommodation you choose you can be certain that it has everything you need for a relaxed and convenient stay.
A continental breakfast is included and a full English breakfast, or kippers, is available at a small extra charge. Dinner is served at 7pm in the dinning room, where a mixture of relaxed and convivial atmosphere, open log fire, exquisite food and the finest wines make for a pleasant and enjoyable dinning experience.
