Our huge inglenook fireplace is one of the main focal points and winter evenings see our guests huddled around, chatting, drinking warm drinks, liqueurs and night caps as they share stories and friendship - throw another log on the fire and it blazes away for hours.
Dating back to the 17th century we are proud of our heritage and today we offer a high standard of service and delight in serving you with gastronomic delights that have been created from fresh produce by our very own chef - mouth watering and nourishing. Accompany with a good wine and your favourite company and the evening is set.
We are just half an hour from the dynamic and historical city of Oxford, putting you in close touch with some super shopping, sight seeing and heritage spots - museums, book shops and perhaps a ride on the Thames on a barge.......
