It is not often that you get to really experience the history of our country, but when you stay at our grade II listed Mansion, built during the reign of William and Mary, you can imagine how genteel country living would have been all those years ago. If you are interested in history and events that shaped our country, a few minutes stroll through the magnificent Warwickshire countryside will bring you to Bosworth Field where King Richard III fought the last battle of the War of the Roses. This is just one of the many interesting places to visit that are nearby.
Although many changes to the building have been made over the years, much of the charm and character of the original building has been retained; the unique atmosphere inside the building, its history and heritage is something that could never be replaced. To ensure that we keep pace with the needs of our guests, modern facilities and technology has been added and you will find everything you would expect from an establishment of this class.
We have 192 well proportioned, elegantly decorated and comfortably furnished rooms, that are quiet, calm and relaxing; the perfect place for a relaxing break, or to return to after a long day working or exploring the many attractions that the area has to offer. Each room includes amongst its fittings: a stylish en-suite bathroom with bath or shower and complimentary toiletries; central heating; opening windows; trouser press; AM/FM radio alarm clock; direct dial telephone; colour TV and hospitality tray with tea, coffee and biscuits. A choice of breakfasts is included in the price of the room. Non smoking rooms are available on request.
Crompton's is our excellent restaurant, wonderfully stylish surroundings and magnificent food that is created from only the finest ingredients and perfectly presented by our talented and imaginative Chef, why not ask the wine waiter to recommend the perfect bottle of wine to compliment your meal.
Jenny's Carvery is a little less formal but also offers superb food, with a choice of traditional roasts with all the trimmings in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
