Our hotel is located at Walshford, near Wetherby, in the magnificent Yorkshire countryside, but with easy access to the main routes through the area the perfect place as a base for exploring this very special and beautiful part of England.

Our splendid hotel has a unique location, set in the countryside for a relaxing and peaceful weekend or longer break, but within easy reach of several of the major town and cities. We are also in the centre of the many and varied tourist attractions that the area has to offer.
Our privately owned, award winning establishment has a choice of 30 well appointed and superbly comfortable rooms. All of our rooms are elegantly decorated in a contemporary style, with en-suite bathroom, desk/working area, modem connection, direct dial telephone and hospitality tray, plus many extras that are designed to make your stay with us perfect.
We have a choice of dinning venues, light meals can be enjoyed in the relaxed atmosphere of the Byron Bar, with superb oak panelling and historic inglenook fireplace. Or the Courtyard Restaurant, with its oak beams and high ceiling that creates a pleasant country style atmosphere in which to enjoy the choice of succulent roasts, tender fish or vegetarian meals. We also have speciality local dishes that vary with the availability of ingredients.
The historic city of York is just fifteen minutes away; Bramham Park and gardens; and the thrills of LIghtwater Valley are all within easy driving distance.

Good stuff: Good parking, friendly receptionist, clean rooms, nice bar area and nice restaurant.

Bad stuff: Having to pay for room and breakfast seperately.

Overall: Very nice hotel and very clean, spacious room.

Overall: very short stay unfortunately, arrived after midnight leaving early next morning. Unable to get breakfast before 07:00, but not unusual.
