Our wonderful hotel is set right in the very heart of England's second city. Good stuff: the staff were friendly and very helpful,pointing me in the right direction for various events I was enquiring about.

Bad stuff: the room was very small and the headboard was not fixed to the wall or bed. the lighting was so dim you could hardly read a paper. The tv set was of an antique variety although you did get all the channels.The room was ok for a one night stay but no longer than that.

Overall: Central situation good for shops and theatres etc. If you may be upgraded to a more expensive room for a longer stop but for a reasonable price a good hotel for the one night. The dinning room was very crowded and it appeared the staff were struggling to cope.
