Situated at the gateway to the picturesque Norfolk Broads our warm and friendly establishment was designed for the convenience and comfort of our guests. The town of Lowestoft is the most Easterly town in England and its perfect, award winning European 'Blue Flag' beaches with wide stretches of safe, golden sands that have been voted England's 'Beach of the Year' for five years running makes it the perfect destination for holiday makers. But there are many other reasons to visit the area. We are set at the gateway to the picturesque Norfolk Broads, with miles of waterways, spectacular scenery and some excellent fishing, both fresh water and sea. For the thrill seekers there is the exciting Pleasurewood Hills, American Theme Park, with all the thrills and spills to keep all the family amused.
We have 26 wonderfully well appointed and elegantly decorated rooms, designed and furnished with the comfort of our guests in mind. Each of our rooms has all of the modern conveniences you would expect to find in an establishment of our class, including a stylish en-suite bathroom with bath or shower and complimentary toiletries; tea and coffee making facilities; trouser press; hairdryer; colour TV and, just in case you get too cosy in our comfortable beds, you can book a wake up call to make certain you don't miss that important appointment or too much of your holiday.

Good stuff: Very clean and comfortable.

Bad stuff: No lifts, some parts of the hotel could do with redecorating.

Overall: Some parts of the hotel are a bit shabby but for the money it is still exceptional value. No restaurant is not a problem as plenty of eating places only a short walk away. Staff helpful and friendly and rooms are kept very clean.

Good stuff: Close to railway stations, shops, etc.

Bad stuff: No breakfast / dining facilities.

Overall: This hotel is good value for money at the budget end of the hotel market. Pleasant, fairly spacious rooms (but no dining facilities) in a building located quite close to both the local rail stations and all other local amenities.
