As you approach our imposing Victorian Gothic Mansion it is hard not to be impressed by the beauty and splendour of the building, its magnificent architecture and wonderful, landscaped gardens is something that many guests do not expect the first time they visit us. We have 47 supremely well proportioned and comfortable single, twin and double rooms, all decorated in rich colours, with soft pastel shades that create the perfect, calm ambiance. We have tried to make certain that our guests have everything they need to make their stay comfortable and as well as wonderfully comfortable furniture, each room has a stylish en-suite bathroom with bath or shower and complimentary toiletries; hairdryer; central heating; windows that open; colour TV with movie and news channels; smoke detectors; AM/FM radio alarm clock; security chain; hospitality tray with tea, coffee and biscuits and if you really do have to work during your stay, a work area with desk, lamp, direct dial telephone and a modem connection to allow internet connection via your lap-top. Non smoking rooms are available on request.
In our Gilbert Scott Restaurant you can enjoy a varied menu of exquisite dishes, all lovingly prepared by our Chef and served in our magnificent dinning room, with high carved wood ceilings, arched doorways, stained glass windows and a relaxed atmosphere.
