Dating back to 1688 our lovely coaching house is ideally situated between Oxford and London. Set in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside, overlooking the pretty village common of Gerrards Cross - one of the most salubrious places to live. A short drive to the business town of Slough where you will find a strong business presence with big names such as ICI, Mars, Cellnet and Sara Lee all having Head Offices here. Excellent for conferences, exhibitions and conventions. Super leisure facilities with cinema and ice rink for some fun and freedom and indoor tennis.

Take a trip to the nearby Windsor Castle and the beautiful grounds - Savill Gardens and the keeper of Jubilee Gardens which were created in 2002. A fantasy trip to Lego Land will please the whole family no end.

Evening entertainment is plentiful with Windsor Theatre Royal, Guildhall and perhaps an evening visit to Henley-on-Thames at Regatta time of year - vibrant and dynamic social scene.

Plenty of opportunity to pop in to London for some West End Shopping and entertainment with quick and easy trains. Lots to do and see on the South West with Kingston-upon-Thames, Richmond with its lively social scene, restaurants and bars and Kew Gardens where you can visit the beautiful botanical gardens and then take some time out to visit one of the delightful tea rooms - summer time treats include strawberries and cream.

Good stuff: The romm was quite nice but the stay was completely ruined by the fact that I couldn't get to sleep because of the noise from staff coming off shift at one o'clock in the morning on both night of my stay.

Bad stuff: The staff at reception could improve their overall manner becasue they were very surly at booking in and booking out. No manners at all.

Overall: The room was quite nice but the noise from staff coming off shift at one o'clock in the morning was terrible; I had to complain to them. When I was booking out, the reception staff were very ill mannered and didn't even say thank you or goodbye and this was just another issue which caused my stay to be ranked as poor. Would I stay there again? Only if I couldn't get another hotel in the Beaconsfiled or Gerrards Cross area.
