Good stuff: The facilities available were very good, the Staff were polite and our double room lived up to all expectations. Our room was quiet as was requested on booking.

Bad stuff: No comment.

Overall: It is very conveniently placed to visit our relatives and places of interest in West and South Yorkshire. It was a popular choice as the staff coped fantastically with three wedding parties and a Silver wedding party on the Saturday. Our evening meal on the Friday was excellent, good selection of wines too. Compliments to the Chef and restaurent staff who had to cope with an army of visitors staying over the weekend. I would have liked to have been able to buy and seen a variety of newspapers which seemed to be in short supply on the two mornings we stayed even tho' we were up early for breakfast.

Bad stuff: that the allocated room was a basement room and that there was some redecoration work-taking place in the corridoors

Overall: I would liked to have be able at the time of booking to choose the room type and possible upgrade from the room I was allocated.

Good stuff: Very comfortable and clean. Good facilities

Bad stuff: Bath taps were so slow that bath took ages to fill.

Overall: Expected the online price to be lower than booking direct with hotel but this was not the case. A colleague of mine paid less for his room and had breakfast included but my price was for just room only and I had to pay extra for breakfast. The staff at the hotel checked if they could charge me the same as my colleague but told me it was not possible so would have booked direct if I had known that the hotel offered a cheaper rate (which is not usually the case).
