Pleasant place to get away and enjoy a well earned break. Our Georgian country house hotel is highly acclaimed and attracts visitors past and present. Excellent accommodation, warm and friendly service and lovely gardens.

Gorgeous Georgian establishment set in pretty grounds, close to the popular market down of Ross-on-Wye. We offer a warm and friendly atmosphere with 36 ensuite rooms that have all been decorated and designed with individual creativity.

Many of the rooms have views over the grounds and gardens which are well kept. Make a cup of tea or coffee and wake up in the comfort of a home from home atmosphere.

We are well known for our marvellous cuisine - served in the Chase Restaurant. Excellent service, a good choice of wines and a double A Rosette for fine dining. IF you prefer something more relaxed then light snacks and drinks are served in the Chase Lounge Bar.

Meet up with friends and enjoy being close to the town where you can shop, enjoy the lively market and stroll along the river.

A short drive takes you in to rolling Herefordshire countryside where you will find Littledan Hall, Bird Reserves and the Jubilee park.

Any reservations made for an evening when such an event is to occur will be made aware of the function in advance of arrival. If the reservation is thus cancelled with Booking due to this, no cancellation charge will be incurred.

Good stuff: The rooms in the original building were excellent

Bad stuff: Television provision in the rooms was poor

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: The whole experience of the stay was very good we were pleased we paid extra for rooms in the original building which are large and take advantage of the views. Food was good and the staff were helpful
