Our imposing country house stands in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, near to the quiet village of Lower Beeding. It was originally built as the home of the former chairman of Harrods, Sir Woodman Burbidge and his wife Cissily. The building features some exquisite examples of wood and plasterwork that were created by craftsmen from the famous London Store. Set in beautiful mature gardens the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend break, or as a base from which you can explore the surrounding area.
We have fifty one well proportioned, elegantly decorated and supremely comfortable single, twin and double rooms that have everything that todays travellers have come to expect from their choice of accommodation. All of our rooms have en-suite bathroom with bath and shower; colour TV; direct dial telephone; hospitality tray (tea/coffee) and just in case you get to cosy in the comfortable bed, you can book a wake up call so that you don't miss that important appointment.
