There are a number of heritage sites worth visiting close by - Mabledurham House and Hambledon. If you travel to Newbury you can organise a day out in a hot air balloon and get to see the beautiful Berkshire countryside from an amazing vantage point.
Travel a little further towards London and you can enjoy a visit to Windsor Castle, view the great Eton and pop in to Lego Land. A little further over is Thorpe Park and easy access to Heathrow.
