 Originally built 400 hundred years ago as a stable block, this fine old building has now been converted into stylish and award winning accommodation. Our family run establishment offers a superb setting from which to plan your trips to the numerous attractions of the surrounding area.
Located in the outskirts of the small Wiltshire market town of Melksham, between Swindon and the historic city of Bath, we are ideally situated for exploring the many local attractions, Longleat, Bowood House, and the world famous ancient heritage site of Stonehenge, these are just some of the places of interest that are within easy reach.
As a family run establishment we pride ourselves on providing comfortable, quiet and relaxing accommodation and excellent food in an intimate, friendly atmosphere. Because we have only a small number of guests at any one time, they can be assured of a high level of personal service that is aimed solely at making their stay with us a memorable one.
All of our spacious single or double rooms are individually decorated and have their own distinct charm and character. Comfortably furnished to give a warm and cosy country house feel. They are all en-suite and have all of the facilities you would expect, hospitality tray (tea/Coffee), colour TV, radio, telephone etc.
There is a comfortable lounge and bar where you can enjoy a drink or just sit and relax, and our award winning restaurant where we serve an excellent menu, all freshly prepared for you from locally sourced produce.
