Our warm and welcoming establishment is conveniently located in Crowthorne within easy reach of Bracknell, Reading and Sandhurst. We offer our guests comfortable and well equipped accommodation, modern facilities and excellent service from dedicated and professional staff, plus an ideal location for exploring the many delights of the region.
The village of Crowthorne has been on this spot since before 1607 when John Norden's survey of Windsor forest showed it at the point where three popular paths through the forest met. Since then it has grown into a thriving town and our warm and friendly establishment was built here as a majestic Victorian country house in 1860. Although the house has undergone many alterations and refurbishments much of the charm and character of the original building still remains, giving the building its uniquely elegant ambiance.
We now have 58 well proportioned, elegantly decorated and supremely comfortable single, twin and double rooms, each one having all of the modern facilities that the modern traveller looks for in their choice of accommodation, including stylish en-suite bathroom with bath or shower; central heating; windows that you can open; trouser press; direct dial telephone with modem link, allowing internet connection via your lap-top; hairdryer; colour TV with satellite channels and a hospitality tray with tea and coffee making facilities.
On your return at the end of a long day you can sit and unwind in the comfortable lounge and enjoy a drink from the bar, before going in to the relaxed and informal atmosphere of our Copenhagen's Brasserie where you can enjoy the superb traditional English and International dishes that are on offer.
