Chard itself has a number of attractions for you to visit. Godworthy House Museum gives a full history of the area and touches on subjects such as flying and artificial limbs!
Cycling is popular here too with organised and marked out routes where you can take in the scenery and breath in the fresh air.
A pleasant drive in to Bath or Bristol and a wealth of shopping, restaurant, cafes, bars, pubs, clubs and bars are all to be enjoyed and discovered.
Just a mile from the Devon border there's plenty of opportunity to venture over the frontier and have that clotted cream tea and adventure around the countryside there too.
