Liverpool began its life as a natural harbour for ships sheltering in the mouth of the River Mersey, as ships got bigger docks were built to accommodate them at the turn of the 18th century. The once bustling docks are not busy now and the area is now a wonderfully vibrant and lively district that has undergone a major rejuvenation, with many exciting restaurants and places of entertainment.
We are located right on the waterfront and many of our rooms have superb views across the dock and the centre of Liverpool is just a pleasant twenty minute stroll away. The city centre is the ideal place for the dedicated shopaholic, with modern shopping centres along side the magnificent historic buildings such as the Liver Building and Lime Street.
