Heading down to Bowness you will find the breathtaking Lake Windermere and the chance to take a cruise to see the scenery from a calm and serene vantage point. Lots of wonderful shops - designer wear, pretty gifts, jewellery and delicious chocolate shops. Visit the Beatrix Potter shop where you'll find all sorts of memorabilia and the Boat Museum near the lake.
