Our wonderful family operated guest house nestles in the folds of the magnificent Yorkshire countryside. This beautiful and unspoilt part of the country has been home to many film and TV locations and we are in the heart of 'Herriot' country, the home of the veterinary practise made famous in books and TV.
Although we are a small establishment we pride ourselves on the genuine hospitality, comfortable and well equipped rooms and friendly, personal service that all of our guests receive, from the moment they arrive until we are waving them goodbye at the end of their stay. We have just seven wonderfully well proportioned, elegantly decorated and supremely comfortable double rooms, some having twin beds and some double, including a four-poster bed for those special anniversaries or those eternal romantics amongst us. All rooms have their own private bathroom, plus the latest in modern conveniences including modem connections.
A substantial breakfast is included in the room price and evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement. We also have facilities for residential courses for up to sixteen people and larger, non-residential courses.
