We welcome you warmly to our enchanted 17th century Inn - nestled in the Somerset hamlet of Rudge, close to Frome and just a short drive from Bath. A perfect refuge for that weekend away where you can relax and enjoy a slower pace of life. Friendly ambiance.

A fine reputation exists here with both locals and returning visitors. Genuine hospitality with wonderful food and an extensive choice on our menu. Ales, wines and a friendly atmosphere complete the scene. We offer comfortable ensuite rooms and you can also book the self-catering cottages which are a recent addition to our accommodation. We have an indoor pool so you can enjoy a gentle swim in the morning before you head out in to the world beyond.

The surrounding countryside is breathtaking with lots of attractions and things to do. Many sporting activities including golfing, walking, hiking, climbing, fishing, shooting and horse riding.

For those who want to explore a little be sure to visit Wookey Hole Caves and pop over to Cheddar to view the Gorge and Caves there.

If you have the family with you then Longleat Safari Park is a must - there's lots for the kids here - a Blue Peter Maze and Adventure Castle, butterfly gardens, Postman Pat Village, Pets Corner and fabulous grounds and gardens for you to wonder about in. See the lions, giraffes, zebra and many other beauties.
