Located just a stones throw from the sea front we are perfectly placed for business and leisure travellers who want to explore the town of Southend on Sea.
Our wonderfully elegant hotel is a Grade II listed building, and the area of Southend on Sea that surrounds us has been classified as a conservation area and is a wonderfully tranquil and peaceful place for your to stay. A perfect marriage of traditional charm and character and the wonderfully rich atmosphere of a building with a long and varied history, much of the original has been retained even though the building was completely refurbished and redecorated at the start of 2006. We are within easy reach of the town centre with its clubs, bars, theatres, restaurants, museums and the pier - from this convenient location our guests are in the ideal place for enjoying the many and varied delights that this traditional sea side holiday destination has to offer.
We have just fourteen spacious and wonderfully well appointed single and double rooms. All of our rooms have a welcoming and relaxing ambiance, with tasteful decoration and supremely comfortable furniture all of our guests can expect an enjoyable and memorable stay. While we endeavour to provide our guests with everything they require, unfortunately because of the age of the building we are unable to install a lift.
Our Coffee House and residents bar is a comfortable and cosy retreat where you can relax with a drink from the well stocked bar or enjoy the wide range of light meals, bar snacks, tea and coffee.
