Apart from the beautiful Rose Gardens, Peacock Gardens, magical island and river - the Castle is filled with history and charm.

Good stuff: NICE,FIRM BED.

Bad stuff: MY SINGLE ROOM A BIT SMALL. NO SHELF SPACE IN WARDROBE FOR CLOTHES, MERELY 2 SMALL DRAWERS FOR SMALLS. MY COLLEAGUES IN THE TWIN BEDDED ROOM NEXT DOOR DIDN'T EVEN HAVE 2 SMALL DRAWERS!

Overall: ROOMS ON THE SMALL SIDE, BUT STORAGE AREA FOR CLOTHES VIRTUALLY NON-EXISTENT. GOOD QUALITY HEAVY ORIENTAL FURNITURE THROUGHOUT. FOR MY 3 NIGHTS STAY I DIDN'T NEED MANY CLOTHES BUT I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE KNOWN THAT I WAS ONLY GOING TO GET 2 TINY DRAWERS. THERE WERE 4 CLOTHES HANGERS IN WARDROBE SO OKAY FOR HANGING TROUSERS AND JACKETS. IT SEEMS THE ORIENTALS DON'T GO IN FOR SHELF SPACE!
