Originally built way back in the 18th century our friendly establishment has been a focal point for this ancient 'wool' town for generations. Built from the locally quarried mellow Cotswold stone, it has the quaint, timeless appearance and looks todays as it would have looked when it was built all those years ago. As a small, privately owned and operated establishment we pride ourselves on the genuinely warm hospitality and high level of personal service that all of our guests receive during their stay. Inside you will find a particularly welcoming ambiance with many of the original features of the building still visible; when the weather is chilly you can sit and warm yourself in front of a real log fire as you enjoy a glass of fine ale, a good wine of a warming tot of spirits from the bar.
