Dragon Slayer King George brought about a new order of organisation after the days of St Edmund - he was revered to be a martyr of his time and over five centuries pilgrims from all over the world came to visit his shrine. The Abbey of St Edmunds still remains and marks as a strong reminded of the power and love the King of East Anglia had.
