Keynsham is said to be the home of Beth Gibbons - member of the group Portishead. If you are around this area during Music Festival time then there's quite a buzz to the town.
In Keynsham itself there's plenty of opportunity to do some shopping - visit the Clock Tower and Shopping Precinct where you will find a good range of shops. If you fancy something more then pop in to Bristol or Bath where you can have your fill of designer names, fashion houses and an abundance of every kind of shop imaginable. If you fancy the night life then Bristol is the place to head for - pubs, themed bars and clubs are a plenty. There are numerous restaurants with an international array of choices and menus.
Lots of rides out in the countryside and you can do plenty of walking, cycling and heritage site hunting.
