There has been a Manor House on this site since the mid 15th century, when we know that it was the home of one Bishop Benson, and his order of Monks. A hundred years later in the 16th century it came into the ownership of King Henry VIII, after he ordered the dissolution of the monasteries. Later, as a reward for their loyal service, the estate was gifted to the Inman family and has continued with its rich and varied history to this day - it is this history that gives it its unique charm and character.
Standing in twenty eight acres of picturesque gardens and woodland there are magnificent views across the River Nidd and the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. As you approach through the well kept grounds you can leave the stresses and worries of modern life behind you and relax in an atmosphere of luxury and sophistication.
