Situated in the small village of Iffley, close to the river Thames and just a short distance from the centre of the city of Oxford, we offer an oasis of peace and tranquillity that is close enough to the attractions of the city to be convenient but away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
Easy to reach by road and rail, a five minute taxi ride from the station, we have ample free parking. The interior of our establishment is full of charm and character and we have a superb, award winning restaurant, 'Arezzo' overlooking the picturesque fountain patio and offering a wide range of exquisite dishes, all lovingly created for your pleasure. Lovers of good food and fine wines will really appreciate the skills of our talented chef and their staff and the cheerful and efficient manner in which they are served.

Good stuff: spacious room in quiet location

Bad stuff: Housekeeping staff couldnt speak English. Dreadful service at Sunday Breakfast

Overall: I have stayed at this hotel before. the facilties and location are good,but the staff let the hotel down, the housekeeping staff we encountered spoke no English, so it was hard to ask for towels which should have been provided and milk for the room tray. The receptionist was completely overwhelmed with her workload and on checkout was unable to provide an invoice due to equipment failure. In the restaurant at breakfast there were many staff, but they were leaderless and were running round like headless chickens,
