The magnificent facade of our superb Queen Anne building is wonderfully impressive, even by todays standards. Recently its current owners have undertaken a major refurbishment, improvement and extension of the building to ensure that it continues to provide the very best in modern accommodation and facilities for its guests. During its many alterations great care and sympathy has been taken to retain the charm and character of the original building.

Good stuff: The accommodation was clean and room large and fresh, people friendly and very obliging, the bar and restaurant area very convenient.

Bad stuff: The toilet in the bathroom was extremely close to the basin and the lid would not stay up because of a design fault. The house being old did not have much sound proofing but this was not too difficult to cope with.

Overall: The staff were helpful and friendly, and overall value for money was exceptional.
