Pleasant walks and strolls where you can enjoy riverside life as you discover the River Cam - take a punt to see the many historical buildings and landmarks from that supreme vantage point.

Head in to the centre for some excellent shopping - you will find all the main stream stores here and some super speciality shops where you can buy those little extras for your beau. Leisurely coffee stops as you watch the world go by and then perhaps a meander around the museums, art galleries, churches and colleges.

Visit the University Library and the beautiful botanical gardens. For those with a love for golf - there's a 9 hole course for that quick round with friends.

Good stuff: Excellent service and friendly staff. Food outstanding. I was pleased to see that there was now screening on the ground floor windows.

Bad stuff: A lot of noise from the corridor - every sound seems to carry. I think it disgraceful that hotels like the Felix, at the top end of the market, see fit to charge for Wi-Fi when more modest establishments offer it free.

Overall: A very pleasant stay (and better than last time, about 3 years ago)
