It is easy to imagine the charm and elegance of the interior from the imposing character of the red brick facade. Our hotel was designed by the eminent Victorian architect George Skipton and was completed in 1897, overlooking the broad beaches and with spectacular sea views. Although outwardly the building has remained much the same, internally it has continually been improved and updated to make certain that the facilities we offer continue to match the requirements of the travelling public. In 2001 we underwent a full renovation to make sure we were ready for the 21st century.
You will find 24 superbly well proportioned single and double rooms that have all you could want to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. All of our rooms benefit from luxurious en-suite bathroom with bath or shower and complimentary toiletries; a work area with desk, lamp and direct dial telephone; trouser press; windows that open; AM/FM radio alarm clock; colour TV with satellite channels and a hospitality tray with tea, coffee and biscuits. Many of our rooms also have splendid sea views.
Our Salute Restaurant is an elegant and sophisticated dinning room with magnificent sea views, where you can enjoy the finest cuisine, with a Mediterranean flavour, our speciality fish dishes are something not to be missed. There is also a daily specials and house menu, that changes regularly and has a wide range of tasty dishes.
The lounge and bar is open continually to residents, and you can always get a tasty selection of snacks and light meals, tea and coffee and an extensive range of alcoholic beverages.
