Once a year the town of Henely-on-Thames becomes a Mecca for rowers and boating enthusiasts from around the world. For generations the Henely Royal Regatta has been one of the most popular of all the traditional events on the social calender. Our splendid Edwardian establishment was built around the turn of the 20th century specifically to cater for the international visitors who flocked to the town. The bar was originally a gentleman's club, where the rich and famous would sit and discuss the days rowing results over a brandy and a cigar.
Over recent years the whole building has been restored, refurbished and improved, with a great deal of time and care taken to make certain that as many of the original features and the unique character and ambiance of the building were retained, while all the facilities that the modern traveller expects to find in their accommodation where incorporated.

As well as the Regatta the town has other attractions and over recent years the Henley Music Festival has also become extremely popular, it is recommended that you book well in advance for both of these events.
