 We are located in the very heart of Belper, one of the most historic towns and surrounded by the beauty of the Derbyshire countryside. The classical facade of our building dates back to the 1700s, and although it has been completely renovated and refurbished, many of the period features have been retained.
This beautiful part of the Derbyshire countryside is steeped in history and is conveniently located for touring the East Midlands and South Yorkshire areas; just a few miles from the city of Derby, there are many interesting and exciting places to visit. The town of Belper has its own historic past, in 1776 Jedediah Strutt built his first cotton mill, harnessing the power of the fast flowing River Derwent to drive the machinery that he used in making the cotton.
