When you come to stay with us at our magnificent hotel, it is not hard to imagine how the Lords and Ladies of the Manor lived, surrounded by luxury, in this superb rambling Manor house. It was originally built in 1727 as a country home for the landed gentry of the time, it has now been lovingly converted into wonderful accommodation for visitors to the area. As you may expect of a house with such a long history it has seen its share of intrigue and drama, and although alterations to the building have taken place over the years, its heritage and character is still retained within its fabric.
We now have 41 spacious, well appointed and elegantly decorated single, twin and double rooms, each one benefiting from the modern facilities that todays traveller looks for in their choice of accommodation.
