Our magnificent country house hotel is over three hundred years old and stands in fifteen acres of picturesque landscaped gardens and parkland. The present Hall was originally a country residence, built in 1630 on the site of a much older dwelling that was mentioned in the Doomsday Book in 1167.The Hall has had a long and interesting history prior to it being lovingly converted into a luxurious and stylish hotel by the present owners in the mid 1990s. Since then it has gained great recognition for the outstanding quality of our accommodation, consistently excellent food and high level of attentive, yet unobtrusive service from our staff of dedicated professionals and is now without doubt the premier place to stay in Shropshire.

You will find that all of our 86 spaciously well proportioned single, twin and double rooms are extremely comfortable and have everything that you will need to make your time with us a pleasant and memorable experience. For your convenience each room has a luxurious en-suite bathroom with bath or shower and complimentary toiletries; central heating; windows that you can open; direct dial telephone; remote control colour TV with satellite channels; trouser press; iron and ironing board; hairdryer; smoke detectors; refrigerator and hospitality tray with tea and coffee making facilities.
