Our charming and elegant establishment was originally built as the family home of Charles Benjamin Mander, the head of the Mander family and the founder of the famous Mander paint and varnish company. Although situated in a semi rural setting and with our own extensive landscaped gardens, we are just a few minutes from the centre of the City of Wolverhampton and fifteen minutes from the historic market town of Bridgnorth on the banks of the River Severn.
Our magnificent Victorian building has recently undergone sympathetic and thoughtful refurbishment that has perfectly blended the charm and character of the original building with state of the art facilities, ensuring that we keep pace with the ever changing requirements of our guests. All of our individually decorated rooms benefit from an elegant en-suite bathroom, with bath or shower; central heating; opening windows; work area with desk, suitable lighting, direct dial telephone, fax machine, modem link and meeting/dinning table; sitting area to relax in and watch the colour TV with satellite channels.
Our Manders Restaurant has also been refurbished and offers a light, airy and relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy the excellent menu that is prepared by our team of talented and imaginative staff, from only the finest, freshest ingredients available at the time.
We also have a state of the art conference centre that is easy to reach, has ample parking and some of the latest innovations in conference technology. All of our conference suite is fully air conditioned and has plasma screens, CD/DVD players, visualisers and LCD projectors, plus we are the first in the UK to install 'Wraparound walls'.
