This Guests Rating Bar for 4.43 Rating out of 5: 4.43  Unique ID(99958179)  Guests Name: Paul

Good stuff: Bright airy rooms, large bathroom and large bed. Great food and real ale from local brewery which owns the pub. Friendly service.

Bad stuff: Not much for the price, walls are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbours snoring!

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: A welcoming country pub in a quiet village. It is owned by a local Oakham based brewery so the ale is first class. Bar area is smokey but restaurant is non-smoking. Food served in bright conservatory is good quality, inexpensive and served in large quantities. A nice garden and patio for fine weather. Rooms are a decent size and if not spotless, are acceptably clean for this standard. Some road noise from traffic through village but not a busy road and this ceases at night. Very good value for money.
