Our magnificent Edwardian country house is set in some of the most peaceful countryside that you will find, away from the hustle and bustle of modern life it is the ideal place to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries. The building has been lovingly converted and improved to make sure that we provide everything that even the most discerning traveller may expect to find. As a family owned and operated establishment perhaps the most important facility we provide is a warm and cheerful welcome, genuine hospitality and a high level of attentive, yet discrete and unobtrusive service.
Each of our 14 well proportioned twin and double rooms have been individually decorated, with each room having its own very special charm and character. You will find a plethora of period antiques alongside knick-knacks and curios, and wooden games that are designed to help you relax. You will find a generous decanter of sherry, with fine cut glasses to welcome you. Great thought has gone into perfecting the balance between luxurious opulence and our guests feeling that they can relax and really be themselves. There is also a fine balance between olde-worlde charm and modern technology, with exposed beams and direct modem access we have the best of both worlds.
Our restaurant has gained a fine reputation for the consistent excellence of its food, relaxed and intimate atmosphere and a superb wine list. All of our dishes are created by our talented chef from the freshest, local ingredients and served with a smile to your table.
