Our friendly, family run establishment prides itself on making our guests feel welcome and at home. Our location in a quiet and picturesque village makes us perfect for a relaxing weekend break, or a holiday exploring the many attractions that are on offer in the surrounding area.
Built around two hundred years ago, The Parklands has spent most of its life as an Inn but has been lovingly converted to offer superior accommodation for visitors to the area. Family owned and operated, there is nothing more important to the owners and staff than providing you with first class, award winning accommodation and excellent service during your stay with us.
Each of our single, twin, double and king size rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, have en-suite facilities, plus a hospitality tray (tea/coffee), colour TV and direct dial telephone.
The restaurant has been refurbished to a high standard and offers a choice of fresh and tasty foods served in a intimate and cosy atmosphere. All our food is freshly prepared by our chef from locally produced ingredients.
In the bar and lounge you can sample a selection of draught and bottled beers and lagers, enjoy a glass of wine or just sit, relax and unwind.
There are plenty of places of interest for you to visit, Stonehenge, the world famous stone circle and Avebury, an equally impressive but perhaps a little less famous, stone circle are within easy driving distance, as are West Kennet Long Barrow, an ancient burial tomb and the Great Western Railway Museum, a fascinating day out for all the family.
