Portland is probably best known for its lighthouse at Portland Bill, once used to keep the passing ships off the rocky shore line it is now a popular tourist attraction. But there are many other equally interesting things to see and do in this beautiful part of the country, Portland Castle, once belonging to Henry VIII it now offers a wonderful insight into life long ago.
From our superb location you can look out over the sea and the stunning Chesil Beach, a shingle bank that separates the 'Fleet' from the sea. On the other side of the headland is Weymouth Harbour and Weymouth Bay.
