The Rosaland is in a wonderfully quiet and peaceful residential area of the city, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet within just a few minutes walk of all of the most popular historic and modern attractions. A ten minute walk will take you to the Barbican, a well preserved area of the city with Elizabethan houses and shops that have stood here for hundreds of years and give you a taste of life all those year ago. As a harbour town, Plymouth has a long history with the sea and it was from here in 1620, that the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for their new life in America.
We have just eleven elegantly decorated, stylishly furnished and wonderfully comfortable rooms which have all recently been refurbished. Down stairs we have a cosy Victorian styled dinning room, where a range of breakfasts are served each morning, for guests who are using the ferry early breakfasts can be arranged. In the evening we serve a wide range of tasty, home cooked meals all freshly made from only the finest ingredients.
After a satisfying dinner, why not relax in our comfortable lounge bar and enjoy good conversation with friends in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
