 The views from our delightful establishment of the harbour and out across the English Channel are breathtaking, and from our wonderful location in the historic Garden Crescent, our guests enjoy the perfect setting from which to experience the many attractions of this picturesque and popular sea side town has to offer.
Our magnificent Georgian establishment was not actually built as a hotel, originally it was a row of terraced houses, that had beed built in 1799 for wealthy families of the area. With the arrival of the steam train and the rise in popularity of sea side holidays that accompanied it, entrepreneurs later converted the houses into the superb hotel that you will find when you arrive. When you arrive and see the delightful position that we occupy, with superb panoramic views of the harbour and out across the English Channel, you will understand why we are so popular with our guests.
We have just sixteen single, twin and double rooms, a family room that comprises of two bedrooms and living area, plus an elegant and luxurious suite with a magnificent four poster bed and its own private balcony over-looking the sea. Privately owned and operated the atmosphere is always wonderfully warm and welcoming and your hosts will do all they can to ensure that everything you need for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday is available. If you're here with your family baby listening and baby sitting services can be arranged and if you just have to keep in touch with work or home, access to our wireless internet service is free as is use of the telephone, including calls to twenty-six other countries.
Breakfast is included in the cost of the room. In the evening we have a well stocked honesty bar and a comfortable lounge where you can sit and chat, read the newspaper or just unwind after a long day. although we do not have a restaurant there are many excellent restaurants that cater for all tastes within just a few minutes walk.
