Our exquisite establishment stands on the High Street in the picturesque market town of Sevenoaks, and has been welcoming travellers passing through this area for over two hundred years. Originally built in the 1700s using local Kentish Ragstone, it was a coaching house and stop over for travellers going to and from London and provided much needed food and drink. Today we still continue this noble tradition only now we provide wonderfully comfortable and well equipped accommodation, mouthwatering cuisine from around the world and friendly, helpful service, and all in relaxed and pleasant surroundings.
We have thirty-seven spacious, well proportioned and stylishly decorated single, twin and double rooms that are superbly comfortable and are fitted with all of the facilities that you would expect to find in an establishment of this quality. All rooms have their own en-suite facilities, internet connection, satellite TV and, if you just have to work, a work area with desk, lamp and direct dial telephone.
Our restaurant serves a wide range of traditional English and Continental dishes, all freshly prepared from the finest ingredients available, locally produced where possible, add a bottle of fine wine to complement your meal and make it a truly memorable dinning experience.
Although we are in the heart of the Garden of England and surrounded by countryside, with a few minutes walk to the nearby station you can be in the West End of London in thirty minutes, perfect for a night out or the business traveller who needs to be in the city during the day but prefers the peace and tranquillity of the country at night.
