The original building has stood here since the reign of Queen Victoria, and although it has been extended and improved over the years it still retains much of its Victorian charm and character. The latest refurbishment has ensured that we continue to provide the finest in modern accommodation and facilities for our guests. Situated in a leafy suburb on the edge of the Peak District you may find it hard to accept that the noise and bustle of the city is just one mile away.
Set in our own picturesque grounds we have 63 well proportioned, elegantly decorated and wonderfully comfortable single, twin and double rooms. All of our rooms have a soothing and relaxing ambiance that is ideal to return to after a tiring day working or touring the many interesting and exciting attractions that this area has to offer. Each room has a stylish en-suite bathroom with bath or shower and complimentary toiletries; central heating; radio alarm clock; hairdryer; direct dial telephone; remote control colour TV; smoke detectors and a hospitality centre with tea and coffee making facilities. Non smoking rooms are available on request. We are a family friendly establishment with a child friendly attitude and cots, cribs, highchairs and children's menu are available.
