Our magnificent establishment is set in one of the most beautiful and picturesque locations, and surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery that you will find in this part of the country. Well off the beaten tourist track, and originally built in the 18th century as a working water-powered mill, our building straddles the cascading River Wensum and whichever room you choose you will have a wonderful river view. Standing in our own superb gardens, there is an air of peace and tranquillity throughout, and for those who like pleasant walks there are many, either along the river banks or through the spectacular Norfolk countryside.
We have just six wonderfully elegant single, twin and double rooms that have all been recently refurbished and are equipped with all of the facilities that both business and leisure travellers expect to find in their accommodation. All rooms are en-suite and supremely comfortable with colour schemes designed to create a soothing and calming ambiance. For those here on business or if you just have to keep in touch with home or work there is Wi-Fi connection throughout. Unfortunately because of the age and design of the building we do not have a lift.
Our cosy restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy the superb cuisine that is prepared for you and served in intimate and elegant, non-smoking, surroundings. There is also a lounge bar where in the evening you can enjoy a drink from the well stocked bar, with a range of real ales, fine wines and spirits.
