Our warm and friendly hotel has recently undergone a major refurbishment and now has a modern, contemporary feel throughout with airy, well lit and stylish public areas where you can relax with a coffee in the morning, afternoon tea or unwind with a drink at the end of the day. Our popular Brasserie Restaurant is open all day and serves excellent food, from a satisfying breakfast to set you up for the day in the morning, to a wide and varied menu of exquisite English and International meals in the evening there will be something to suit every taste. Good stuff: Large room (Rm 8), good service, good food, easy parking

Bad stuff: Only thing is that the lighting especially in the bathroom was too dim, had to go out into main room to see to shave properly! Likewise restaurant lighting quite dim, found it difficult to read menu. Had similar experience in different room a couple of years ago. If not for these the 2 "goods" would have been "excellent"

Overall: Very good, have stayed before here and would again, and good value.
